This is what you’ll be doing
As a Lead Driver, you are a professional on the road and a trusted point of contact within the team. You help ensure safe operations, high standards, and a positive working culture. Your responsibilities include: driving modern 2WIN double‑deck box trailers with tail lifts to UK RDC locations, supporting the Transport Manager in the day‑to‑day operation of the UK fleet and acting as a role model for safety, vehicle care and professional behaviour. Optional European trips for drivers who are interested, and of course you will receive full training on all specialist equipment.
At the Emons Group, we don’t do general haulage. We are a European family business, and specialist in high‑tech, sustainable logistics. As we establish our UK operations, we are building a small, high‑quality founding fleet. Therefore we are looking for experienced Class 1 drivers with leadership qualities who want more than just a driving job. This is your chance to work with our innovative 2WIN double‑deck trailers and Van Huët glass inloaders, while helping shape the culture, values and standards of our UK operations from day one.
